15.5 x 12 Altered flat rate box
US Priority Mail
Ready to be stuffed and addressed. I recently learned that the US Postal Service provides several sizes of flat rate boxes that may be taken from the post office at any time. You pay for them only when you are ready to mail off your package . . .
In other news, I will be making an exciting announcement TOMORROW. So stay tuned. It's big, exciting, HUGE . . . I've gotta go shopping . . .

I don't know why I just thought of this, but by any chance will there be any "issue" with the priority box being "altered" and the P.O. not honoring the set postage that each size box has? Just wondering if you asked and if you didn't, you might want to do so before making up such GORGEOUS mailing boxes!! x o
Ooooooh and I can hardly wait to hear your good news! Anything that will allow a woman to go shopping is good news ENOUGH! LOL
Kristin -- I've only had a chance to look at your flickr pix of your AMG work, but I love, love, LOVE it! You are an amazing artist! Thank you for commenting on my blog today so I could find you!
I'm also thrilled to discover that we have open adoption in common -- we have four children by the miracle of OA :)
Blessings as you pursue another child to weave into the tapestry of your family!
I can't wait to see what it is,
have fun!
;)
Thank you for your comments! I wanted to address Sherry's question in case anyone wants to do the same: I would definitely suggest asking your local post office before altering a flat rate box, but I have been able to do so successfully - they will put labels on the outside (they were kind enough to place them carefully so as not to interfere with the art) but other than that, I was able to send it off as I had hoped. xo
