"Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint you can at it."
- Danny Kaye
Hellllllooooooooo! (I'm still here).
Busily waiting until I can get back to arting & such. The last weeks have been filled with Lifebook filming, house painting (and the decorating that follows - why does everything else in the house look so bad after a fresh coat of paint?!) and getting ready for the little one's last year of elementary.
It's a busy time - but I do see a light at the end of the tunnel - and gratefully, it includes more room for throwing paint. In the meantime, here's the littlest peak at something colorful. I hope it finds you happy, well and in the throws of creating your own Great Big Canvas . . . .
With Love & Colorful Kisses,
Kristin xo

Hey Kristin! Since the ending of SOC, I've surely missed seeing you here in cyberspace. Glad all is well --- busy-ness is quite a blessing.
I have one to share, too. My work is in the Sept./Oct. issue of Somerset Studios, page 117. And --- more coolness --- one of the free art papers features my elements! Its no longer the first post on my blog, but you can scroll down a bit to see it.
Sending additional blessings your way. It just gets better and better. Zip-a-dee-do-dah!
Hi there awesome one! Isn't that DK quote just THE best?? Of course you have me wanting to see more of that oh so colorful and vibrant tease. Hope you have had a really wonderful summer with Kendra and that she has a great school year. Yes, what is it about a fresh coat of paint making everything around it look old and dull? So looking forward to seeing you around a bit more, along with your fabulous art!
Hi Kristin! That's a lovely abstract.
This is vibrant and full of pure energy!Hope you are well!

Lovely abstract composition, great colours to brighten a rainy summer day in GB. x
Gorgeous color combo! :)
Hello,
Your fabulous painting with breathtaking colors made my heart leap with joy. Your artistic skill is very fascinating and original.
I was wondering why the house was looking so bad after painting. Perhaps you were used to the old painting for so long that it will take some time for you to get adjusted to the clean house with fresh painting and I am sure you will love it after some days.
Enjoy these wonderful days with the little one because soon he will grow up and fly away. The days with the little one is very precious.
I was wondering at your quote. How much can one do in a life time? Even the great Alexander when he died, he did not take anything with him although he was a great conqueror. Amazing isn't it? This doesn't mean that we should not go all out to live our lives, seek fame and fortune, happiness and joy, adventure and thrills and do what ever we can to leave our foot prints before we go. Let us give life a big shot and live life to the fullest.
Best wishes
