I'm a newbie as far as art and journalling go, and the I'm just realising now that I don't use my favourite colour combination in my work - ever! The colours that came to mind were black white and red (with some grey if degrees of light and shade are needed), but I haven't done one spread using them, so today I will. 68. At the moment I do a lot of gelli printing and I love to work with three primaries and mix other colors from them; and mix with burnt umber to pull the (mixed) colors together. As it is fall I sometimes stick to the warm end of the spectrum: yellow, red and orange tones.
I'd love to win the spot on Lifebook - as it is a great inspiration for techniques and other color schemes.I looked at all my work and saw that the colour scheme Tam uses often has seeped into my work (other than LB work). So that's my second color set: magenta, yellow, yellowish green and teal. ;-)
